THE PIRATE PARTY!!

HI PIRATES!

El divendres abans de vacances de Pasqua el Capità Hope ens va preparar una bona sorpresa, una festa amb esmorçar a l'estil pirata. Vam menjar entrepans amb forma de vaixell i banderes pirates, i vàrem beure sang de tauró! Quina passada!

On Friday before Easter holidays, Captain Hope got us a very special surprise, a real pirate party with themed food and drinks. We ate ship shaped sandwiches with Jolly Rogers on it,and we drank Shark's Blood! Awesome!

Treasure Hunt

L'últim missatge del Capità Hope ens portava aquesta història:

"Fa molt de temps, el mar arribava fins a aquesta escola, que abans era una illa. En aquella època de traïcions i saquejos un grup de malvats pirates van arribar a les terres de Barcelona amb la intenció d’apoderar-se “del tresor del Safa”, un tresor que, segons la llegenda, amaga les joies més valuoses de la humanitat.

Però, com eren uns pirates molt dolents i no sabien compartir, ni col·laborar junts, ja que sempre es barallaven; l’intent de saqueig no els va sortir com havien pensat, doncs el seu vaixell va naufragar i els pirates es varen ofegar.  I es per això que mai varen poder trobar el tresor."

Per tal de trobar el tresor amagat, hem hagut de passar unes proves i treballar en equip per complir la missió.

First, we fought in a Kiss War, the teachers (Meritxell, Teresa Maria and Marina) painted our lips with different and lively colours. So, we were ready to kiss each other.

After that, we looked for the map parts which were hidden in the playground. When we found them, we had to put them together in order to start looking for the Pirate Treasure.

After following the map orders we ended in the P3 classroom where the secret treasure chest was placed. 

Finally, we had a big surprise, inside there were very old and valous ( and chocolate made ) gold coins and also a nice bracelet with the School's year value on it.

Ens ho hem passat genial!

EL BATEIG PIRATA

Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrr!

Ja som membres de la tripulació del Capità Hope! 

El Pirata Grumpy i la Pirata Smile han vingut avui al SAFA, ens han portat dos missatges de part del Capità. Ens han fet dir el jurament i després ens han donat el "carnet pirata" i ens han fet un tattoo.

Pel dijous 12 el Capità ens ha demanat que portem un mocador pirata, ja que l'ajudarem a buscar un tresor que està amagat a l'escola des de fa molts anys. Què hi haurà dins del tresor?

Today, Pirate Grumpy and Pirate Smile came at SAFA, they brought us two scrolls from Captain Hope. We said the Pirate's oath and after that the two pirates gave us our ID card and they made us a tattoo.
Captain Hope asked us to bring a bandanna on Thursday 12th . We are going to help him in the treasure hunt. What's going to be inside the treasure?

Arrrrr Pirates!

La darrera setmana el Capità Hope ens va demanar que, per a poder ser membres de la seva tripulació,  ens inventéssim un nom pirata, ja que el proper dijous vindran dos ajudants seus per fer-nos el bateig pirata!!!
Cada un de nosaltres va omplir el seu carnet amb el nom pirata i va estampar la seva empremta dactilar  amb tinta de color vermell.
Esperem amb moltes ganes el dia del bateig!!!



Last week Captain Hope asked us to come up with a pirate name, so we could be members of his crew. 
Next Thursday two Pirates from Captain Hope's crew are coming to help us with the Pirate Initiation!!
We wrote our Pirate name on the card ID and we put our fingerprint on it.
We are looking forward to the Initiation day!!

Museu Marítim

Ahoy!

L'altre dia els Pirates vàrem anar a visitar el Museu Marítim de Barcelona. Ens vàrem dividir en dos grups per a fer les dues activitats.
A dins del museu ens va rebre la capitana "Puny de ferro", que ens va explicar  coses sobre els vaixells, el que feien abans els pirates, on vivien... i ens va fer membres de la seva tripulació!!! Finalment la vàrem acompanyar a buscar un tresor amagat dins del museu.
A fora, atracat al port, hi havia un vaixell el "Santa Eulàlia" que vàrem poder visitar, baixar a les bodegues, tocar la campana, el timó... va ser molt entretingut.

A few days ago the Pirates went to visit the "Museu Marítim de Barcelona".
Inside the museum the captain "Puny de ferro" was waiting for us. She told us many diferent things about ships and how pirates lived. She made us part of her pirate's crew. Finally we went on a treasure hunt.
On the portside there was the "Santa Eulàlia's" ship. We went on board and we rang the bell, we visited the hold and we could touch the rudder and so on. It was awesome!

La darrera setmana, dins el cofre hi havia un pergamí amb el Jurament Pirata. És molt important aprendre'l.
Com que el capità Hope també ens preguntava el nom de la classe i el de la mascota, li hem escrit un missatge contestant les seves preguntes i li hem deixat dins del cofre.

This last week we have found a scroll with the Pirate Oath. It is very important to know it well.
Capitan Hope asked us the classroom's name and puppet's name so we answered him with a note inside the Pirate's chest.
